[eoxserver-dev] Dataset vs DatasetSeries vs Coverage

Dear all,
I cannot attend today's meeting as I have a previous engagement, but I wish
to ask a question in regards to Dataset and DatasetSeries meaning. By that I
mean, that if I query a GetCapabilites request, I get one CoverageId within
which a DatasetSeries is referenced (I'm talking about the sample data we
are using now). But there are several Datasets and DatasetSeries defined in
a database, but from the GetCapabilites query I would not know that. So what
is the relationship of those terms? I originally supposed that Dataset is
set of Coverages and DatasetSeries is a set of Datasets. So I would expect
that GetCapabilities would give you a sort of hierarchical list of all data
and their organization. But all I get is one CoverageId. Is there a simple
way how to explain that?

Motto: DatasetSeries and Datasets go in, one CoverageId goes out. You can't
explain that.
